1. What This Website Is

This is a private reference site with no government connection. We do not keep official criminal records, retrieve files, perform official background checks, or submit documents on behalf of a user.

The site identifies the Wapello County Sheriff's Office, Iowa District Court, Iowa DCI repository, Iowa Sex Offender Registry, and other sources that maintain Wapello County records. It may also connect a user to an outside research tool.

2. Rules for Using This Site

Every user agrees not to:

• Use a bot, scraper, or other automated tool against the website
• Interfere with performance or prevent others from gaining access

We are not a consumer reporting agency under the FCRA and produce no credit report, background check, or consumer report. Our advertising partners likewise do not offer tools here for applicant screening, rental review, insurance pricing, or credit decisions. A user must not apply information from this website or a linked service to:

• Any other action regulated by the FCRA
• Eligibility for a license, permit, or government program
• Creditworthiness or insurance premiums
• A rental or housing application
• A decision to hire or dismiss someone

A check for a regulated purpose must be obtained through the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation or a screening provider that complies with the FCRA, as the circumstances require.

14. Severability
